snowbrain Synovial Joints just continues to grow on me with each listen, the intricacies revealing themselves, the inner logic, the individual-collective expressiveness. Fascinating instrumentation. I had the distinct pleasure of hearing Steve, Miles, Anthony, and Kristin play together recently in Olympia… the only problem was not enough time for them to truly stretch out! The disc is an integrated whole but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Nomadic. Favorite track: Nomadic.

Mihai Sorohan First encounter with Steve Coleman's music was many years ago with the album "Rhythm in Mind". Since then, I was hooked.
Great music from a great mind and heart. Totally recommended.
